Aphrodite (Strong Like the Ocean)

A powerful call-and-response chant - the "II" represents the place where the "response" should come in, echoing what "I" just sang. The way I learned it is not the original version, but I love it, so I put it in here as an alternate version (which works with the original in harmony). I learned it in a gospel-y style, but the original version is sort of rhythmic and rolling; you can find it on KIVA's album Mother Wisdom (**listen and buy here or here**).
